Ink Experience with The Journey Studio

In conjunction with the Powerful Women (Kin) exhibition, Coral Street Art Space invites you to an immersive Acrylic Ink Experience Workshop with artist Meg Mader from The Journey Studio.

Meg is one of the exhibiting artists in Powerful Women (Kin), showing from 6 February to 28 March 2026. Her practice is grounded in the expressive possibilities of acrylic inks, gouache, and pen, creating vibrant, detailed illustrations spanning animals, still life, and playful pop‑culture mash-ups. Her energetic approach to colour and linework makes her workshops both inspiring and accessible to all skill levels.

In this hands-on session, Meg will guide participants through techniques for getting the most out of acrylic inks—from colour layering and mark‑making to creating bold contrasts and fluid textures.

All materials are supplied, including professional‑quality acrylic inks and A3 300gsm watercolour paper. With Meg’s step-by-step tuition, you’ll develop your own artwork to take home, gaining both practical skills and confidence in working with this lively medium.

Whether you're a beginner, a practicing artist, or simply curious about trying something new, this workshop offers a creative, welcoming space to explore, connect, and be inspired alongside the Powerful Women (Kin) exhibition.
