Homecoming – World Premiere Screening

Presenting Homecoming, a unique half-hour cinematic work exploring life on the Bluff at Encounter Bay, screening as part of Winter Whale Fest.

Join us for the world premiere at Victa Cinema on Saturday June 7, 1–2pm. This evocative film has been two years in the making, created through a collaboration between composer Matt Laing and videographer Denis Smith, with the original score performed live by Alison Rayner, Justin Julian and David Moran, three of Adelaide's finest string players. Weaving original music and striking coastal imagery into a powerful reflection on place and connection.

This special event offers audiences the chance to experience the film in the iconic setting of Victa Cinema. Before the screening, the string trio will perform a selection of music picked especially to compliment the film.
